ACCESSIBLE WINERIES IN LANGHORNE CREEK
We want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy Langhorne Creek and we welcome people of all age and physical ability. Our cellar doors are constantly improving facilities to support and promote inclusive experiences.
By providing the following information we aim to help people with a diverse range of abilities plan their visit and improve their Langhorne Creek visitor experience.
Bleasdale
Bleasdale cellar door is step-free, spacious and easy to navigate. There is a spacious car park with a gravel surface. There is a designated access park by the office for close access to cellar door.
There is an accessible toilet with ramp access. This is across a gravel car park from the cellar door.
Vineyard Road
Vineyard Rd cellar door has an accessible car park right next to the entrance. Alternative parking is available in a spacious, gravel parking area.
The accessible toilet is currently not available due to site renovations. (current September 2020)
Kimbolton
Kimbolton Wines is Langhorne Creeks newest cellar door. Parking is in a spacious, gravel parking area and there is access via a path to the front door. There is one full accessible toilet and an ambulant toilet.
The cellar door has indoor and outdoor seating for their wine and cheese experiences.
Windsong Wines
Parking is available in several spacious areas easily accessible to the main entrance. The building is level and the toilet facilities meet current accessibility standards.
Lake Breeze
Lake Breeze is currently (September 2020) building a state-of-the-art function centre for weddings and special events. They have a restaurant on site. There is easy level access through front door and into the cellar door. There is inside and outdoor dining available. Parking is in a spacious, gravel parking area. Less mobile might consider getting dropped off at the front door and having the driver park the car.
There are two ambulant toilets and 1 accessible toilet.
Angas Plains
Angas Plains have a dedicated accessible parking space otherwise parking is available close to the cellar doors in a spacious gravel parking area. There is easy level access through the front door and into the cellar door and inside and outdoor dining available.
There is an accessible toilet.
Rusticana
Rusticana is also the home of Newman’s Horseradish and condiments. Parking is in a spacious, gravel parking area. There is a ramp to the elevated cellar door and deck overlooking vineyards, the horseradish fields and the river and gums beyond.
There is an accessible toilet with handrails and sliding door.
Bremerton Wines
Bremerton Wines are currently (September 2020) undergoing a major redevelopment to their cellar door. The completion date is December 2020. We will update you on their accessible facilities closer to the completion date.
